Joyce Sacchi Scott, 81, of Oak Island, Vero Beach, passed away on March 1, 2015.
She is survived by her devoted, protective husband of 30 years, George; her two brothers John and Milton; sister Helen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her immigrant parents from Italy and Germany, Charles and Mentha.
Scott was born in Freehold, N.J., on Dec. 30, 1933, graduating from Freehold High School in 1951.
She was an accomplished violinist, played the glockenspiel in the Elks orchestra, and was a choir member of the First Presbyterian Church. Scott was employed in communications by AT&T for over 25 years in New Jersey, Alaska, and Montana, retiring in Florida. Added stress contributed to her congestive heart condition. She was assisted by her loving brother Johnny who arranged for additional medical services at Eisenhower Medical Center, Desert Cardiology Group in California by renowned physicians but for all their exemplary medical expertise Scott succumbed on March 1st, 2015.
Services will only be conducted in Rancho Mirage and Beverly Hills, Calif.
