Donald James Ricci, 64, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 2, 2015, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Nadja Nevsimal–Ricci; mother Mary Lorenzi Ricci; four daughters, Lauren Ann (Chris Devanux), Elizabeth Ann Ricci, Katharina Ricci and Sophie Ricci; four sons, Kevin Donald Ricci (Kerry), Christopher Donald Ricci, Nicholas Donald Ricci and Patrick Donald Ricci; and four grandchildren, Alexandria, Barrett, MacKenzie and Channing.
Ricci was a native of Chicago, Ill., and was a residence of Vero Beach for 15 years coming from Tequesta, Fla.
He was the owner and operator of McDonald Properties, L.C. of Vero Beach, and the co-owner of Hurricane Grill and Wings of Vero Beach. He worked in the construction industry for more than 35 years, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald’s memory to VNA Hospice or Hibiscus Children’s Center.
