Sheriff’s Office announces 21st Youth Ranch BBQ to be held March 4

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar and the employees of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office invites the public to the 21st Annual Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches Barbecue to be held Wednesday, March 4, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office campus located at 4055 41st Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.

This open house style event will include demonstrations by the canine and special weapons and tactics (S.W.A.T.) teams, tours of the jail and 9-1-1 dispatch center, and so much more. Pork or chicken dinners will be available to adults and children age five and older for just $5. Children under age five, parking and shuttle service are all free. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling (772) 978-6404.

Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar said, “We are excited to again announce our annual barbecue to benefit the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches. Last year we raised $50,000 for the ranches and with the community’s help, we hope to donate even more to them this year. Please join on us March 4th for our best barbecue yet!”
