Charles Perry Rowan, 76, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 24, 2015, at his home.
He is survived by his daughters Robin (Robert) Schaffer of Vero Beach, Carol (Warren) Jewell of Valkaria and Cindy (Larry) Marsh of Okeechobee; sisters Nancy Regina Gaeta of Blue Ridge, Ga., and Hellen Whittington of Micanopy; brothers Raymond Rowan of Pompano Beach and Alton Rowan of Alapaha, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Linda Sue Rowan in 2010 and brothers James, Thomas and Ronald.
Rowan was born in Valdosta, Ga., and retired to Vero Beach coming from Plantation, Fla.
He was the owner of Rowan Construction Company in Broward County for more than 50 years.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the funeral home chapel.
