Michael John Jones, 56, of Vero Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 25, 2014, as the result of an automobile accident in Elizabeth, N.J.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Hardin Jones of Vero Beach; mother Carol Schmidt of Ridgeland, S.C.; sister Diane Jones of Ridgeland, S.C.; brothers Greg (Terri) Jones of Alliance, Ohio, Scott (Tiffany) Jones of Minerva, Ohio; daughters Carli Jones of Waycross, Ga., Sara Hensley of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John A. Jones, niece Melissa Jones, mother-in-law Patti Smith Hardin, and his beloved four-legged friend Rock Jones.
Jones was born Aug. 15, 1958 in New Castle, Penn., to John and Carol Jones.
He was a 1976 graduate of Alliance High School in Alliance, Ohio, and spent his life in the transportation and trucking industry.
A celebration of his life will be held at the home of Diane Jones in Ridgeland, S.C., March 21, 2015.
