Linda “Lin” Roller Menard, 65, of Vero Beach, passed away in Houston, Texas, at MD Anderson Cancer Center on Feb. 15, 2015.
She is survived by her husband Roc Menard of Vero Beach; mother Vera Roller of Vero Beach; daughters Michele Homan Keeling (Dwayne) and Jill Homan Brown of Vero Beach; siblings Phyllis Klucinec, Beth Givler (John) of Vero Beach and Gary Roller of Ft. Lauderdale; grandchildren Jessica Lin Keeling, Erik Keeling, Hailey Brown, and Hannah Brown; and many loving in-laws and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Hugo Carl Roller of Vero Beach and her brother Thomas “Tom” Roller of Bradenton, Fla.
Menard was born on Aug. 25, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio, to Hugo and Vera Roller. She came to Vero Beach in 1966 from Clark Lake, Mich., and graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1967.
She married and raised her children for more than 20 years. After her children were grown, she then pursued a career in business that included interior design and art galleries (Ambiance Interiors and Art Gallery and Lin Roller Menard Interiors and Art Gallery).
In 1996 she married Roc Menard and they enjoyed life together doing the things they loved including going to the beach, boating, fishing, and traveling (especially Eleuthera, Bahamas). She loved spending time with her family doing all the things she enjoyed and had a very dear and special relationship with her daughters and grandchildren.
A beach side memorial is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., utilizing Riomar Country Club Beach House parking and beach access, with a reception to follow at Roc and Lin’s home at 1750 26th Avenue. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lin’s life.
