Charles Franklin Ingle, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 16, 2015.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Carole Owen Ingle; brother Thomas; sister Mary Ruth; first wife, and mother of his daughters, Arlene Ingle; daughters Laurie Floyd and Tracy Bayle; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; loving step-children Carrie and David Mace, Lisa and Dave Milton, and Laurie and Dale Dunayzan; seven grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and loving pet Lil’ Daisy Darlin’.

Ingle was born in Alabama, grew up in New Smyrna Beach, and resided in Vero Beach. He was a Marine and Marine band trombonist, a 25 year Indian River County Fire Department firefighter and lieutenant, retired since 1991.

Ingle loved going out daily, with his wife, to local restaurants where several of their regular servers became “adopted” family members. An avid wood worker, he enjoyed a wood working ministry with his wife to benefit the church food pantry.

Through the years, he played trombone in the church band and sang tenor in the choir. Ingle loved Jesus and studying God’s Word, enjoyed working out in the yard and family get togethers. An Avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, his favorite phrase, “Roll Tide”!!!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church (disciples) of Vero Beach Food Pantry. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Feb. 28, 2015, at First Christian Church of Vero Beach 1927 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
