Rose McManus, 94, of Wakefield and Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 15, 2015, at the Newfield House in Plymouth.
She is survived by her son Thomas L. McManus, Jr. of Coral Gables, Fla.; her two daughters Diane McManus of Plymouth and Linda McManus of Scituate; and her two granddaughters Carling and Kelby McManus.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas L. McManus, brother Hugh R. White and her sister Mary T. Marshall.
Born in Framingham on March 3, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Jerome R. and MaryAnn (O’Connell) White. McManus was a graduate of Our Lady of the Assumption High School in Wellesley and Mrs. Faye Secretarial School in Boston. She had been a Wakefield resident from 1952 to 2006 and a Vero Beach resident from 1986 to 2012.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St., Reading on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. There is no period of visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rose’s name can be made to Riverbrook Residence, 4 Ice Glen Rd., Stockbridge, MA 01262.
