Ray McLendon gives Highwaymen art talk on Feb. 23

VERO BEACH — Ray McLendon is the son of original Highwaymen artist Roy McLendon Sr. and studied with him throughout his life. McLendon will be speaking about the history of the now famous local Florida Landscape artists and also what is happening in the local art scene with their work, in his lecture “The History and the Today of Highwaymen Art.”

Join him to learn how to spot counterfeit paintings and the value of some of the current artists. The lecture will take place at the Community Center in Historic Downtown Vero Beach, 2266 14th Ave, on Feb. 23, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. No admission fee and no reservations are required.
