VERO BEACH — The Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast’s history of giving back to the local community continues with the announcement of its first Champions for Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 28, 2015, at Sandridge Golf Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit SafeSpace and other local charities. Past and current beneficiaries include Youth Guidance, Dogs for Life and Boys and Girls Club.
The event will be a scramble format with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded for low team score, longest drive(s) and closest to the pin(s). Lunch and tee prizes will be included in the $100 entry fee for players.
Additionally, participants can enter a 50/50 drawing, play poker and purchase Mulligan’s to add fun and excitement to the event. Check-in begins at 7:15 a.m.
Exchange Club donates time and money to organizations that help support its four pillars:
Prevention of Child Abuse, Americanism, Community Service and Youth Programs.
