Surf City Surf Shop draws for good student skim board prize March 28

VERO BEACH — In the interest of encouraging local students, Surf City Surf Shop is offering all students in Indian River County a chance to win a free Wave Zone GT Pro Model skim board valued at $300, and other prizes. The skim board is sponsored by Craig Eglin, a Vero Beach High School student from the Class of 1978. All other prizes are sponsored by Surf City Surf Shop.

The contest requires that the student bring his or her next report card showing only A’s and B’s, along with a student photo ID, into Surf City Surf Shop located at 835 17th Street, Suite 105, Vero Beach for their chance to win.

The drawing will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Surf City Surf Shop. The student does not have to be present at this drawing to win. The winner will be contacted and given instructions for picking up their new skim board from the shop.

Bruce Brazie, owner of Surf City Surf Shop says, “Since we know how frustrating it can be to be so close, we will have a secondary drawing for a chance to win a Spring Break Package, including a t-shirt, board shorts, and sunscreen, for those students who bring in a report card with one C, and otherwise all A’s and B’s.”

Students: To keep the contest fair for everyone, Surf City will require a student photo ID. If you don’t have a photo ID, you can bring your parent with their photo ID to vouch for you.
