David Cypress, 61, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 7, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Marlene Alexander Cypress of Vero Beach; son Craig Cypress of Okeechobee; daughters Shutonna Cypress McGriff and Alissia Cypress of Vero Beach, and Felice Woulard DeSouza of Maryland; father John H. Cypress of Sebastian; brothers John R. Cypress of Sebastian, Gregory L. Cypress of Texas, Charles H. Cypress of Vero Beach; sister Jackie Cypress of Sebastian; and four grandchildren.
He was born on May 10, 1953, in Fort Pierce, a native of Indian River County. He attended the public schools of Indian River County and was a graduate of Vero Beach High School Class of 1971. He was an athletic member of the track and football teams. He enjoyed fishing. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed making lawns smile in the lawn care business.
Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. and the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 14, 2015, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
