Michael E. Kinchen, 54, of Sebastian, passed away on Feb. 6, 2015, at Florida Hospital in Orlando.
He is survived by his wife Linda Kinchen of Sebastian; mother Charmaine Morris of Fellsmere; step-daughter Tammy Cates of Tyler, Texas; sister Bridgette Christoffersen of Fellsmere; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father James Kinchen, maternal grandmother Jessie Downie and his maternal grandfather Stanford Morris.
He was born in Miami and lived in the Sebastian area for 29 years coming from south Florida.
He worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for Martin County and volunteered with the Indian River County Volunteer Ambulance Squad.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday Feb. 13, 2015, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday Feb. 13, 2015, at Strunk Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sebastian Cemetery.
