VERO BEACH – Drainage work has closed 16th Street between 22nd Avenue and 24th Avenue beginning today. The closure will remain in effect through 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, when the City of Vero Beach expects to reopen the road.
Access to property owners, as well as emergency access, will be maintained at all times.
A detour route has been posted. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
Crews are constructing drainage improvements beneath the roadway.
