Friends of North IRC Library show ‘Costa Rica’ film Feb. 12

SEBASTIAN — The film “Costa Rica” will be shown by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the library meeting room. In this film, Richard Bangs explores the ecological and cultural treasures of Costa Rica, visiting the cloud forest, zip-lining through the jungle, witnessing green turtle hatchlings as they race to the surf, whitewater rafting, and interviewing many people working hard to preserve the land and culture of this unique land.

Admission is free and open to the public. The library is located at 1001 Sebastian Boulevard, three miles west of U.S. 1. For more information call the Library at (772) 589-1355.
