Florida Institute of Technology puts on aquaculture class Feb. 9-13

VERO BEACH — Florida Institute of Technology will offer an Adult Aquaculture Workshop at its Vero Beach Marine Laboratory. From farming marine tropical fishes for the pet trade to evaluating marine plants for bio-fuel, there is always something going on at the Laboratory, which is a hub for scientists engaged in the study aquaculture.

The one-week workshop runs Feb. 9th through Feb. 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily. Participants will raise their own clownfish, care for seahorses, meet local scientists and learn about Lab activities.
