23rd Street to close at 20th Ave. beginning Feb. 2

VERO BEACH — The 23rd Street crossing over the 20th Avenue drainage canal will be closed beginning Monday, Feb. 2, to remove and replace the existing 108-inch culvert. The work will include adding storm-water treatment at the inlets near the project. Work will be performed by Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. and is expected to take 90 days to complete. During that time, 20th Avenue will generally remain open and detours for 23rd Street will be posted.
