Tanya Chesser, 49, Vero Beach

Tanya Chesser, 49, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 23, 2015, after an unexpected heart condition.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Chesser; daughter Audra Adams; son Jered Luke; step-daughter Tammy Chesser; six grandchildren; sisters Deborah Dunn and Dana Carey; step-brothers Gain Luke (Connie) and Rodney Luke (Donna); and six nieces and nephews.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1965, to Gerald Lynch and Sandra Lynch-Luke. Chesser graduated from Vero Beach High School and went on to obtain certifications which allowed her to work within the avionics field. In her more recent years, Chesser was known as a caretaker and homemaker to her husband Thomas Chesser. Being a homemaker is considered the most important work in the world. Its value needs no justification because its importance is incalculable.

Chesser loved to read and cook. People could always expect a good, filling meal when visiting. Most importantly, she loved to talk. Many will remember her for her laugh.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian with a Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Seawinds Funeral Home of Sebastian, is entrusted with arrangements, http://www.seawindsfh.com.
