Stuart Anderson, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 24, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Mary S. Anderson.
Anderson spent most of his life in Buffalo, N.Y., where he was born. He was raised in Fort Erie, Ont, Canada where he went to and graduated from Fort Erie HS. He and his wife Marge settled in Buffalo after a stint in the Navy during WWII.
He was an avid sailor and won many championships throughout the US and Canada while sailing his Lightning “Glockenspiel.” He was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Company for 40 years. He was the president of the Local 1339 IBEW for 10 years. He also served as the Head of Employee Services Western Division. He has lived the last nine years in Vero Beach with his wife Mary.
