INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A contractor will close Old Dixie Highway at the Indian River/St. Lucie County Line, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7 a.m. through Friday, Feb. 27. The road will reopen on Friday, Feb. 27, at 9 p.m. Access to property owners as well as emergency access will be maintained at all times. A detour route will be posted. A contractor is installing beam and form structures as part of the US 1 Bridge Improvements, Phase I project.
