Lael M. Blair, 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 19, 2015.
She is survived by her sister, Valerie Krueger of Port St. Lucie; sons Scott Blair and Ken Rose of Vero Beach; daughter Lori (John) Lacy of Tampa; granddaughters Dr. Jessica Lacy of Boston and Sarah Lacy of Naples; and nephew, Doug Krueger of Port St. Lucie.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Blair.
After fighting a long, hard battle to recover from a car accident in July of 2014, Blair went home to be with our Heavenly Father.
She was born July 9, 1932, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, N.Y., to Jean and Merle Babcock.
She was a 41 year resident of Vero Beach, coming from Brentwood, Long Island.
She had worked in retail sales with DuBose Jewelers, Vero Beach.
Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory of Vero Beach is entrusted with arrangements.
An inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, on April 3, 2015.
