IRC’s ‘Best Places To Work’ event set for Jan. 29

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Honorable Carole Jean Jordan, CFC, of the Indian River County Tax Collector will be the keynote speaker at the “Best Places to Work” kick-off event scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29, at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.

The event will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., and a continental breakfast will be served.

The event is made possible through the help of generous sponsors. Those interested in sponsoring the 2015 program can fill out and send in the sponsorship form before Jan. 26, to be featured at the kickoff event.

Best Places to Work is an annual program that provides a confidential forum for local employers to participate in an evaluation of workplace best practices. Companies who participate receive a complimentary bench-marking report that summarizes the survey responses. This valuable tool provides a blueprint on workplace initiatives and best practices.

Employers whose practices make them one of the “Best Places to Work” will be recognized at an upcoming awards luncheon in May.

CareerSource Research Coast assists businesses in building better workplaces. As an extension of that work, participation is complimentary. As long as a company has been in business for two years and is located in Indian River County, they may participate.
