Charles Sciortino, 84, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 17, 2015.
He is survived by his beloved partner of 61 years, Timothy Reardon; three nephews Louis, Robert and Stephen; a niece Rhonda Sady; and a sister-in-law Vinnie Sciortino, all of Reading, Mass.
Sciortino was born March 25, 1930, in Boston, Mass., the son of the late Elizabeth and Guy Sciortino. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Winthrop, Mass.
He worked for the Massachusetts Port Authority for 22 years before retiring in 1986. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, and was medically discharged in 1954. Sciortino was a member of the DAV.
