Rec Department hosts daddy-daughter dance Feb. 28

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Recreation Department is offering a chance for girls to take their dads out on a date. The Department of Fun invites fathers and their little girls to the 14th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance, “Denim and Diamonds.” The cost is $32.10 per couple, which includes food. Additional children are $5.35 per person. The event is for children ages 3-9.

Girls, tell daddy to get out his dancing shoes for the 14th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance Feb. 28. The Polish American Social Club will become party central again this year for dancing, music, food, and entertainment. The fun will start at 6 p.m. and will last until 8:30 p.m. Pictures will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Registration begins Jan. 19, for children ages 3 to 9. Registration is limited to the first 220 couples and ends on Feb. 20. Register at any of these locations: County Administration building, North County Aquatic Center, or Gifford Aquatic Center. Check out the department’s website at www.ircrec.com.
