David Culhane, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dc. 21, 2014.
He is survived by nephews Steven, Michael, David, Thomas and John; nieces Terry, Christine, Elaine, Julie, MaryEllen and Angela; as well as numerous great-nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion and best friend, Edna Bachmann, and
sisters Margaret Mueller and Lorraine Howley.
Culhane was the son of the late David and Ann Culhane. He was born on Nov. 5, 1933, in Cambridge, Mass., and lived in a variety of other areas throughout Massachusetts before retiring in Florida. He was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps having served during the Korean War. He retired after 42 years as a power lineman in the utilities department for the State of Massachusetts.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, with the Sebastian Area Veterans’ Honor Guard conducting the military honors. A guest book is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com.
