Clarissa Tahaney, 98, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 14, 2015.
She is survived by her sons Carey Tahaney, of Vero Beach, Matthew Tahaney III, of San Antonio, Texas; sister Sara Rainey, of Vero Beach; three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Tahaney.
Tahaney was born in Sandy Lake, Penn., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 13 years coming from North Miami, Fla.
During her younger years, she worked in banking and managed apartment buildings in North Miami. She was of the Protestant faith.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
