Update: Lanes open after fatal crash closed 4th Street/IR Boulevard

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Lanes at 4th Street are now open after a morning crash killed one person, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The motorcyclist  in Saturday morning’s fatal crash has been identified. 

Toby Cash Miller, 27, of Vero Beach, died this morning after his motorcycle was involved in a single vehicle crash at 4th Street and U.S. 1, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. Dep. Saputo estimated he was going double the 45 mph speed limit.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash Saturday morning at U.S. 1 and 4th Street, according to Indian River County Sheriff’s Spokesman Sgt. Eric Flowers.

One motorcycle was involved, according to authorities. 

The crash happened in the eastbound lane of 4th Street just east of U.S. 1, according to authorities. The street has been closed for several hours and is expected to be closed for several more.

The Sheriff’s Office is advising people to avoid the area.
