Annie Bilodeau, 95, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach on Jan. 13, 2015.
She is survived by her daughter Christine Picken (William Richard Picken) of Vero Beach; grandsons Todd (Jennifer) Picken and Mace (Raquel) Picken; great-grandsons Garett and Alexander Picken; great-granddaughter Samantha Picken; sister Bertha St. Arnauld; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John A. Bilodeau on Jan. 12, 1996, and by her granddaughter Kim Picken on May 30, 2014.
Bilodeau was born in Ashland, N.H. on Feb.16, 1919. After marrying John Bilodeau in 1937 she not only became his partner in life, but also in businesses throughout their long marriage. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and golf, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a wonderful “Nanny” and will be remembered for being such a caring, happy, pleasant, easy-going lady. Her wish was to have no memorial services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The ARC, 1375 16th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960. Online condolences may be shared at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
