Edward Owen Cruce, 52, of Sebastian, passed away on Jan. 10, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Nova Lee Cruce of Sebastian; daughters Samantha and Crystal Cruce of Sebastian; son Benjamin Cruce of Sebastian; sisters Cora (Thomas) Rimes and Ramona (Donnie) Broughton of Sebastian; brother Mathew Cruce of Wabasso; and mother and father-in-law Julius and Bonnie McGowan of Winter Beach.
He was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Donnie Lee Cruce.
Cruce was born in Vero Beach and was a long time resident of Sebastian.
He attended Abiding Presence International in Winter Beach and had been a Plant Manager for the Indian River County School District.
Cruce was a strong family man and his love of family was central to his life. When time away from family allowed, he enjoyed tinkering in his workshop.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian with a Life Celebration Service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Winter Beach Cemetery. After the interment family and friends are invited to the home of Julius and Bonnie McGowan for a reception.
