Michael Votzi, 67, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 21, 2014.
He is survived by his sons Jason Michael (Allison) and Nathan Christopher Votzi; two grandchildren Logan and Madison Votzi; sister Judy Goodrich and Brother Robert Votzi (Debbie); and several nieces and nephews.
Votzi was born on Dec. 10, 1947, in Vero Beach, the son of the late Mike Frank Votzi and the late Bonnie Votzi. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1966. He married Sheila Steele Votzi in 1972. He served more than eight years in the US Army, serving in Vietnam and Korea, then returned to Vero where he lived and enjoyed his family.
Votzi enjoyed time with family and friends. He would share stories of his childhood while growing up in Vero Beach and those many hours on the river and fishing.
A celebration of life will be held at Vero Beach Veterans on Saturday Jan. 17, 2015, at 11 a.m.
