Anti-boot camp getting people in shape Jan., Feb.

VERO BEACH — According to the U.S. government, losing weight is one of the top New Year’s resolutions people make. Losing weight can be a difficult challenge considering the thousands of diet options, exercise regiments, and often seemingly slow results. People can now start out the New Year with a boot camp aimed at helping people lose weight and eat cleaner for life without starvation or deprivation.

Starting on Jan. 19, 2015, through Feb. 15, 2015, the Healthy Habits Anti-Boot Camp will commence to help people invest in their New Year’s resolutions and keep them.

“Boot camps tend to be quick fixes and don’t really set you up for a long lasting change,” explains Jayne McAllister, of Jayne McAllister Travel Wellness. “Pushing and punishing yourself for a few weeks will have you scurrying back to your old habits in no time. Deprivation, punishment and starvation will not set you up for success.”

To help people lose weight and feel better the healthy way, McAllister is hosting the Healthy Habits Anti-Boot Camp. The program takes place over 28 days. Early bird registration ends at midnight on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015. For savings and to secure a spot, participants should register early. Investment for the Healthy Habits Anti-Boot Camp is $349 before Jan. 11; $399 after Jan. 11.

About a week before the program starts, all participants will receive the guide and recipe book by email and will have access to the private Facebook page.

The program comprises seven stages. Before each stage, participants will receive audio instructions for the stage as well as bonus audio materials on weight loss related topics about how cleanses work, how weight loss really works, hormone balance, keeping the home free of toxins, and pH balance. These talks can be listened to when convenient.

Each day of the program, participants will meet via a live group coaching call with McAllister. They can dial in and listen, or even participate via computer or tablet. They will have the opportunity to ask questions live or email them. All calls are recorded in case someone can’t make it or they want to revisit the material later.

For those without the time or inclination to cook, McAllister has partnered with Vero Beach’s Chelsea’s Market on Cardinal to provide entrees, soups and salads that fit the program’s parameters.

“Chelsea’s Market on Cardinal offers many fresh vegetable and healthy dishes. Farm fresh vegetables, non-gluten grains and wholesome grains such as quinoa and brown rice help make up much of our daily offerings. And don’t forget about our gourmet salad bar,” says David Busch, owner of Chelsea’s Market on Cardinal. “The correlation between eating clean and having more energy is undeniable. I’m glad to be able to serve this healthy-eating community and be a part of this amazing program.”
