VERO BEACH — The public is invited to hear Jay Thurrott speak at the Indian River Bromeliad Society’s meeting, Jan. 12. His topic is “Bromeliads in Paradise: The Hawaii World Conference.” The meeting will be held at the Garden Club of Indian River County, located at 2526 17th Avenue, Vero Beach.
There will be a plant raffle and refreshments. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m. The public is welcome, no bromeliad knowledge is required; just a desire to learn about this fascinating plant.
