Abraham Hershkoff, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 1, 2015, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Hershkoff of Vero Beach; son Robert Herschkoff of Roswell, Ga.; and daughter Junet Carvana of Alpharetta, Ga.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Prior to retirement he worked as a Supervisor for the New York City Transit. He was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Service- Coast Guard, where he was awarded a good conduct ribbon and victory ribbon.
Funeral Service will be Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, burial will follow with military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla.
