Vero Beach Museum of Art hosts antiques show Jan. 8-11

VERO BEACH — The Museum’s 23rd annual Antiques Show and Sale takes on a slightly new dimension this year. To add to the already superlative offerings in antiques, there will be “by popular demand” an increased representation of fine art and jewelry.

Show manager Charles Miller of Chapel Hill, N.C., returns with 38 of the country’s best dealers including show veterans Ed Weissman Antiquarian, Naples, Fla.; Whitehall Antiques, Chapel Hill, N.C.; and Lynda Willauer Antiques, Nantucket, Mass., and others. New dealers this year include Elliott & Elliott Antiques, Harbor Springs, Mich.; Keith Funston Antiques, Sudbury, Mass.; and Manor House Antiques, Baton Rouge, La., to name a few.

The Museum’s Antiques Show and Sale is considered one of Florida’s most-esteemed expositions of antiques in the region and has a long-standing reputation for quality and variety that attracts antique-lovers and collectors from around Florida, and beyond.

Admission is $10 and includes re-admission through the weekend along with an extraordinary exhibition of Chinese Export “Canton” Porcelain from the collection of Gail and Rich Mellin.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Appraisals by Charles Miller are available daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at a cost of $15 per item (plus show admission charge) with a three-item maximum.
