Marie Heermance, 97, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 27, 2014.
A devoted mother, she is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Paula (Ron Emerson) Heermance, Kathy (Jimmy) Asbell, and Theresa Teeter, as well as a son and his partner, Timothy Heermance (Susan Durden). She is fortunate to leave 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Heermance.
She was born June 14, 1917, in Bound Brook, N.J., the daughter of Paul and Mary Hanke. She was united in marriage to William H. Heermance on Sept. 5, 1942. He preceded her in death in March, 1972.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Jan. 3, 2014, at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church Chapel, Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7590 26th St, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
