Roger Ouillette, 86, of Jackson, N.J., and Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 18, 2014, his loving and loyal partner, Lorna Oswald, was by his side.
Other than Oswald, he is survived by loving niece Cheryl Newcomb, Chris Newcomb, and their children Tiffany, Christopher and Faith, of Riverview, Fla. Ouilette will also be dearly missed by many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie (Zelinka), in 2007.
Ouillette graduated in 1946 from Thomas Jefferson H.S. in Elizabeth, N.J. He served his country proudly in the Marines during WWII. He held a B.A. degree from Florida Southern College, an MBA from Seton Hall University and an MA from Kean College.
He held several positions in senior management at Exxon, Citgo, NJ Turnpike Authority, and Whaleco. Ouillette had a positive influence on all those around him through his encouragement and wonderful people skills. The family is grateful for the compassionate care he received at CareOne in Jackson, N.J. A Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 17, 2015, at Westlake Golf and Country Club in Jackson, N.J.
