INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A morning apartment fire has displaced five people at The Preserves at Oslo at 2299 10th Rd. SW, according to authorities.
One adult and four children are being assisted by the Red Cross.
A hot water heater short sparked, which caused presents to catch fire that were stored around it, according to authorities. The sprinklers kept the fire under control until Indian River County Fire Rescue arrived and put it out.
No injuries were reported.
