VERO BEACH — The planning committee for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition’s popular annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars has organized to plan what they consider to be the 7th and best year on record for the lively fundraising event.
Dancing with Vero’s Stars will take place on the evening of Saturday, May 9, 2015, at The Riverside Theatre, a community partner with the Healthy Start Coalition.
“A combination of an outstanding list of star dancers and instructors, meshed with an amazing, energetic and creative committee, can only make for a successful event,” said Brenda Lloyd, co-chair with Glenn Tremml for the event. Tremml agreed, “We have a very diversified group of dancers this year and the community has been wowed by the line-up. We anticipate great results…and are quite excited.”
Participating on the committee, in addition to Lloyd and Tremml (star dancers in 2010 and 2012 respectively) are Adam Chrzan (star dancer of 2013) who is the liaison with the dancers and instructors. Bev and Marty Paris of Paris Productions: pre and post publicity; Amanda Robinson of Squared Studios-advertising and graphics and Susan Clay (star dancer 2011): the Red Carpet; Melissa Shine (star dancer 2012): mini-event coordinator; Sharon Batten will again be handling all elements of décor; Karen Mechling has joined the committee to handle administrative duties; Tony Donadio (star dancer of 2014): video with videographer Nick Verola; and the Silent Auction is headed up by newcomers Katy Faires and Natasha Potter.
From the IRC Healthy Start Coalition is Executive Director Kathie Cain. All still photography is being handled by members of the Indian River Photo Club, a new community partner with the Healthy Start Coalition.
