Morris “Bud” Bradt, Jr., 92, of Vero Beach, New York City, and Amagansett, N.Y., passed away on Dec. 6, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy Ann; his loving sons George (Meg) of Stamford, Conn., and Rick (Marty) of Rye, N.Y.; and six grandchildren, George Jr., Peter, Avery, Serena, Reid and Ward.
He was born Feb., 22, 1922. He lived a fulfilled life with family, career and friends.
He enjoyed 30 years in management consulting, in particular his focus on the transportation and energy industries. Bradt graduated from Cornell University in 1943 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering following two years of service in World War II as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
Bradt treasured spending time with loved ones, traveling abroad, golfing, and sitting on the beach. He swore by the mantra that it is those with whom you take the journey that matters. His club affiliations included The Moorings of Vero Beach, South Fork Country Club and the Amagansett Beach Association.
