Ida Mae Boris, 81, of Sebastian, passed away on Dec. 5, 2014, while at home in Sebastian.
She is survived by her children Susan (Dennis) Tippin, Daniel (Rebecca) Corr, and Connie (Timothy) Kust; grandchildren Michael, Allison, Amanda, Meagan, Tori, Erin, Shannon, and Julia; and her great-grandchildren Joseph, Dominic, Haylie, and Joshua; and sister Sara Holtin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Corr, husband Joseph Boris, brothers Arch and Harry, and sister Frances.
She was born in on April 26, 1933, to Archibald and Ethel George, a faithful family of florists from Springdale and New Kensington, Penn. Upon graduating from Springdale High School, Boris went to work in the drafting department at Edgewater Steel Company.
She married Daniel Corr and devoted her time and energy to raising her family. With her kind and gentle manner, she later served others through her work in health care. She was a gifted pianist and she will be remembered by beautiful impromptu recitals performed at home. She enjoyed sewing crafts including crochet and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Boris was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Memorial services will be will be officiated by Reverend Russ Horne on Friday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, Penn. Boris will rest alongside her late husband, Joseph, at Greenwood.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution is asked to donate to the American Diabetes Association or other non-profit researching a cure for diabetes.
