Annette Doris Brouillette, 93, Vero Beach

Annette Doris Brouillette, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, at North Broward Medical Center in Pompano Beach, Fla.

She is survived by her daughters Annette Quimper, of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Denise Brouillette-Nichols, of Nokomis, Fla.; sons George A. Brouillette, of Pawtucket, R.I., Eugene B. Brouillette, of North Kingstown, R.I., and Paul Brouillette, of EastHampton, Mass.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nephew Richard Tessier, of Hiltonhead, S.C.; and nieces Jackie Bellio and Janet Lagasse, both of Plymouth, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George Andre “Andy” Brouillette.

Brouillette was born in Woonsocket, R.I. and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 25 years, coming from Pawtucket, R.I. She served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army and had been stationed in France and Japan during World War II. She was also a 1944 graduate from the Rhode Island School of Nursing in Providence, R.I.

Brouillette volunteered for many organizations, she was a member of the Notables of Vero Beach and she just loved to sing. She was a member of the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, and a Veterans Honor Guard ceremony at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the mass.
