Abby Lynn Sesack-Calleja, 40, of Vero Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 29, 2014.
She is survived by her young children Carter, Alix and Elle all of Vero Beach; parents Barry and Marsha Sesack of Vero Beach; brother Eric Sesack (Piper) of Vero Beach; niece Ava of Vero Beach; paternal grandmother Betty Lou Sesack of Central City, Penn.; maternal grandmother, Helen Bindas of Arnold, Penn; aunts, Susan Copenhaver (Gary) and SanSu Blackford (Zeke) of Penn.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1974, in Vero Beach and has been a lifelong Florida resident. She was a cheerleader and tennis player at Vero Beach High School graduating with honors in 1993. She earned a BS in business administration and was an honors graduate from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Calleja was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. She worked in corporate sales, banking, financing, tv modeling, and real-estate. She was a student at IRSC pursuing a career in physical therapy.
Her children attend Beachland Elementary where she was active in the PTA. She enjoyed her life to the fullest: spending time with friends, family and her children.
She was a bright shooting star. We will miss her smile, laughter and enthusiasm. Her legacy is her three beautiful children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calleja Children’s Memorial Fund in care of any Wells Fargo Bank. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5, at the First Church of God, 1105 58th Ave, Vero Beach, FL. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday Dec. 6, at the First Church of God, Vero Beach. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.
