INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — For the past three years, Osceola Bistro owner and executive chef Chris Bireley has been dazzling Vero Beach diners with his delicious, inventive cuisine made with the finest locally sourced ingredients.
Bireley’s “fresh, local cooking” can now be enjoyed at McKee Botanical Garden, where Osceola Bistro is the exclusive caterer and new proprietor of the Garden’s on-site cafe.
Osceola Bistro at the Garden Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, 12 to 2:30 p.m. Like its namesake, the cafe at McKee specializes in fresh food made with locally procured ingredients.
The menu features an ever-changing selection of soups, salads and sandwiches along with specials reflective of the season. A children’s menu is also available.
“Osceola Bistro has established itself as a destination for fine local cuisine in Vero Beach,” said McKee Botanical Garden Executive Director Christine Hobart. “We are thrilled to welcome Chef Bireley and his team to McKee, and to provide our visitors with a taste of his delicious farm to table cooking.”
In addition to operating the Garden Café, Bireley will also serve as its exclusive caterer, providing catering for all on-site weddings, parties, and corporate events.
“The partnership between Osceola Bistro and McKee Botanical Garden is a natural fit,” stated Bireley. “Both are known for their unique outdoor settings where diners can enjoy al fresco dining surrounded by lush, tropical plants. We look forward to providing McKee visitors with the flavorful cuisine Osceola Bistro is known for, and expanding our clientele through this exciting new collaboration.”
