Elizabeth Ball, 99, Vero Beach

Elizabeth “Betty” Adele Ball, 99, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 22, 2014.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Anderson (Glen), of Okemos, Mich., and Susan Sair (Doug), of Fort Pierce; grandchildren Kelly Woodworth (Adam), of Lansing, Mich., Staci Spengler of Spartanburg, S.C., David Kroger of Everett, Wash., Joel Spengler (Claudia), of Chapel Hill, N.C.; siblings Richard Hewett, of Daytona Beach, Janet Garrett, of Ormond Beach, Fla., Robert Hewett of Orange City, Fla., and Joseph Hewett of Chalis, Wash; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert Cragin Ball, and sons Robert Hewett and Joseph Hewett.

Ball was a native of Okemos, Mich., and moved to Vero Beach 10 years ago from Benita Beach, Fla.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to all of Mrs. Ball’s caregivers especially Anita, Aretha and Lorna.
