Dancing with Vero Stars dancers announced

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa was the venue for the annual meet and greet for Dancing with Vero’s Stars on Sunday, Nov. 16, where all dancers, instructors and the pairing of dancing couples were announced formally.

Official dancing couples include:

Jan Mason Cilento will be dancing with instructor Robert Scott. Cilento is the owner and manager of Visage Hair and Nail Designs and Scott owns and operates the Indian River Ballroom.

Eric Flowers will be dancing with instructor Beth Shestak. Flowers is the Sergeant of Public Affairs for the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and Shestak is the resident Choreographer and performer for Theater Go Round and the Bulletin Editor at Holy Cross.

Karen L. Franke will be dancing with instructor Joe Tessier. Franke is the station manager at Treasure and Space Coast Radio 93.7 WGYL The Breeze, 97.1 Ocean FM, 99.7 Jack FM, 94.7 Hot County and 1490 WTTB AM News Radio. Tessier, with wife Shari, formed the dance performance team “Swingsation,” co-owns Swingsation’s 14th Ave dance studio in historic downtown Vero, co-owns and operates “Infinite Entertainment” and with wife Shari co-produces Dancing with Martin Stars.

Thomas Lowther will be dancing with instructor Amy Trammell. Lowther is the Indian River County Mosquito Control District 2 director and an Indian River County funeral director. Trammell is co-owner of Vero Classical Ballet and is also a licensed massage therapist.

Lee Olsen will be dancing with instructor Shari Tessier. Olson is manager of Waldo’s Restaurant at the Driftwood and Tessier is co-owner of Swingsation’s 14th Ave Dance Studio, co-owner of Infinite Entertainment DJ Services and with husband Joe, co-produces Dancing with Martin Stars.

Susie B. O’Toole-Evans, M.D., will be dancing with Instructor Joe Wynes. O’Toole-Evans is a Board Certified Pediatrician and sole owner of Vero Beach’s Island Pediatrics. Wynes founded the Vero Beach chapter of the United States Ballroom Dancer’s Association and owns Desire to Dance Studio at Sebastian’s Community Center.

Deborah Polackwich will be dancing with instructor with Barry Trammell. Polackwich is a public school system mentor of young children, artist and jewelry designer and non-profit volunteer. Trammel is co-owner of Vero Classical Ballet and sells mainland homes for Dale Sorensen Real Estate.

Jackie Savell will be dancing with instructor Bob Kane. Savell is the owner, operator and president of Trusted Insurance Professionals Kane represents USA Dance Space Coast Chapter and is an architect/organizer/and participant of Dancing with Brevard.

Bobby Sexton will be dancing with instructor Marianella Tobar. Sexton, with his wife, is founder of Orchid Island Juice Company home of Natalie’s Orange Juice, citrus grower and President of the company. Tobar is owner of Marianella’s Dance Fusion in Vero Beach.

Andy White will be dancing with instructor Karren Walter. White is Northern Trust’s Fiduciary Officer and Walter teaches American and International Style dance and is choreographer for many Vero Beach Theatre Guild productions.

The magical evening will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. Riverside Theatre is once again the Healthy Start Coalition’s Community Partner. Proceeds from this event will benefit the IRC Healthy Start Coalition and Riverside Theatre’s programs and services.

Ticket prices are $200 for Exclusive seating, $150 for Premium seating and $100 for General seating. The ticket cost will include an expanded pre-show Red Carpet event, a cocktail party complete with open bars, hors d’ouevres and a silent auction.

To support a dancer, assign your ticket purchase to that dancer at the time of purchase as each $1 raised will equate to a vote for the dancer. There is limited handicapped seating availability, please inquire at Box Office.

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available for consideration. Complimentary tickets are included in many of the sponsorship packages. The cost of a sponsorship may be used to support a dancer as each $1 raised will equate to a vote for the dancer.

The mission of the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition is to establish a system that guarantees all women have access to prenatal care and that all infants have access to services that promote normal growth and development.
