Robert L. Lowe, 89, Vero Beach

Robert L. Lowe, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 19, 2014.

He is survived by his daughters Jane Marie Terefencko (John) of Selinsgrove, Penn., Nancy Lowe Turner (Travis) of Atlanta, Ga., and Barbara Murray (Shawn) of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; granddaughters Erin Stinson (Thomas) of Newburgh, N.Y. and Jordan Terefencko of McKinney, Texas; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.

Lowe was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Jane Greenwald Lowe and step- grandson, John E. Terefencko, Jr.

Lowe was born in Kingston, Penn., and lived in Vero Beach for 10 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II.

Lowe worked for IBM for 30 years before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach. He was a member of the Vero Beach Elks Lodge 1774.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 24, at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach. An Elks Ceremony will be conducted at the Vero Beach Elks Lodge 1774 immediately following the funeral mass. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
