Roy Winston Stewart, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 6, 2014.
He is survived by his brothers, Desmond Stewart, of Ontario, Canada, Lascelle Stewart, of Bronx, N.Y., Godfrey Stewart, of Rockland, N.Y.; sisters, Thelma Stewart, of Kingston, Jamaica, Pearl Stewart, of Manchester, England, Olive Lewis, of Frankfield, Jamaica, Elaine Knight and Celia Jackson, both of Kingston, Jamaica.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Stewart, and sisters, Reva Reid and Eulalee Williams.
Stewart was born in Frankfield, Jamaica and had been a resident of Vero Beach for more than 20 years coming from Mt. Vernon, N.Y.
Prior to retirement, he worked as an accountant.
Stewart enjoyed cricket and tending his garden of fruit trees. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach.
A visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
