VERO BEACH — Riverside Children’s Theatre’s Festival of Trees, Nov. 22 and 23, not only has plenty for parents to see and do but this year more than ever the kids will be busy too.
Many activities are planned for the kids, including a scavenger hunt, crafts, games, face painting and a selfie photo booth.
On stage everyone will be entertained with readings and enactment of favorite children’s books, all part of the “Storybook Forest” theme. Riverside’s RCT “On The Go” actors will perform such favorites as “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Polar Express.” Local author Leslie McGuirk will share her book “Ho, Ho, Ho, Tucker.” Santa will be making appearances as well.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Call the box office at (772)-231-6990 for an entertainment schedule.
