Beverly Anne Amditis-Housenick, 67, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 13, 2014, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Stephen J. Housenick of Vero Beach; sons, Gregory Amditis (Shannon) and John Amditis (Dawn) both of Vero Beach; daughter, Karin Amditis of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Austin Amditis and Angela Amditis both of Vero Beach and many dear friends.
Housenick was born in Paterson, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 28 years coming from her birthplace. She attended Eastside High School, Paterson, N.J.
She loved the culinary arts and specialized in Greek cuisine. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and delighted in planning menus and preparing dishes. She relished teaching her skill to her children and grandchildren.
Housenick loved the water, be it while on a small fishing boat or a large cruise ship. She adored aquatic activities and animals and was even kissed by a dolphin. She had an outstanding sense of humor and her story-telling skills ranked with the best. Above all, she graced all those around her with laughter, love, and life.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:15 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Vero Beach, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach. An online guest book is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com.
