Keitha Marie York, 97, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 14, 2014, at Clare Bridge Memory Care in Vero Beach.
She is survived by her son, E. Malcolm York of Vero Beach; daughter, Melanie A. Metzler of Aiken, S.C.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was born on May 20, 1917, in Darke County, Ohio, married Edgar York in 1935 and lived in the Dayton, Ohio area until they moved to Port St. Lucie in 1974 and Vero Beach in 1990. They were married 77 years when Edgar passed. She was a member of the DAR and The Community Church of Vero Beach.
A celebration of life service will be conducted in the Chapel at The Community Church of Vero Beach at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Community Church.
